Final Day in Grand Teton

Hi All,

We finished volunteering last Wednesday when the weather was beautiful though cold.

We stayed in the area to observe Yom Kippur with the Jackson Hole Jewish Community. For the High Holidays they use the St John's Episcopal Church, a magnificent log structure .

This morning Carl had some final departure chores like cleaning the roof and stowing all the hoses. He was cautious but undeterred as he climbed the ladder to get all of the leaves and twigs off the roof and slideout awnings. He suffered nothing but cold hands.
Tomorrow we unplug the electricity and head for Brigham City, UT to do some birding at Bear River Refuge.

Here's a summary of our trip back to Barberville Pioneer Settlement:
Bear River Refuge
Bryce Canyon National Park
Zion National Park
Canyon de Chelley NM
Santa Fe
Austin TX to visit friends
Fort Pickens NHS
Hudson, FL for window repairs
Visit Dr Elissa Pally
Crystal River National Wildlife Refuge
Barberville

Love,

Sandy & Carl
