North Rim

Hi All,

The original plan was to visit Bryce Canyon today but the crowds at Zion yesterday made us reconsider and we headed, instead, to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, only slightly more distant with far fewer visitors.

First stop was a hike to Bright Angel Point.

After lunch and some retail therapy we drove to Point Imperial.

Each view was more breathtaking than the last, especially here at 8,830 feet elevation.

Last stop was the end of the road at Cape Royal where the river erosion is clear to see.

This is Angels Window

This viewpoint at the end of the trail was stunning. However, Carl did not shoot over the railing, there is no fence or railing here!!
Tomorrow we are on to Canyon de Chelly.

Love,
