Hi All,
This is our third visit to Arches and we love it. Today we spent half a day checking out the new Visitor Center, hiking Park Avenue and touring some of the scenic overlooks. Tomorrow we will hike to many of the arches.
Park Avenue is a narrow canyon with soaring red rock walls
There are many interesting eroded features
This one is called the "Three Gossips"
Not surprisingly, this is called "Balance Rock"
Hard to beat the view from our picnic table
or from almost anyplace else on the park
This is the overlook at Fiery Furnace, an extensive area of eroded fins with narrow trails between.
Tomorrow we see the arches in Arches.
