Arches of Arches

Hi All,

Yesterday we explored the scenic vistas of Arches National Park.

Today we saw over a dozen of her magnificent arches, starting with the iconic "Delicate Arch". The trail to this arch is three miles round trip but it gains about 500 feet. The middle third climbs across this rock face. We still have a ways to go

Even though we have climbed this far

It was definitely worth the climb!

On the way down we spotted lots of these beautiful pink and blue quartz outcrops. On the way up we were so focused on climbing, we didn't notice them.

Next we went to the Windows district for a ranger guided hike. Here are North and South Windows

Here's Turret Arch

and Double Arch

While we were off hiking, Ginger was guarding the coach.
