Northern Utah

Hi All,

Whenever we travel through this area, we stop in Brigham City to visit the nearby wildlife refuge.

The view from the local KOA is not too shabby.

The Bear River Refuge has a wonderful auto route. It was very buggy but we saw 43 species along the tour.

The next day we drove through Cache Canyon north of Logan, UT. The Logan River winds through the canyon.

This fallen tree had a hard life. It is more burl than tree.

At the trailhead we saw a rattlesnake warning sign. We didn't see rattlesnakes but this brown rat snake was fun to watch.

The canyon road leads to Bear Lake seen from this overlook.
We are spending extra time here due to yet another maintenance problem. Hopefully, we will get to Yellowstone National Park on Tuesday.

Love,

Sandy & Carl
