Great Visit with the Grady's

Hi All,

We have had a wonderful visit with Mike & Mary in Meeker CO. They have spent most of their lives ranching in this small town in northwest CO. We first met them in Ocala National Forest and discovered we have numerous volunteer friends in common from Ocala and Santa Ana.

Here are Mike & Mary on the porch of the cabin at their summer pasture at 8,200 feet elevation.

Here's the view of the mountains from their main house.

Here is a wide image of the stunning views.

The sense of community in Meeker is palpable. The Grady's showed us around town pointing out late 1800's army barracks and other local site. As he drove, Mike waved at nearly every passing car. The local museum was fascinating.

We had a wonderful visit and look forward to seeing them at their winter place south of Tucson.

Now we are off to Utah then Yellowstone.

Love,
