Our Repositioning Trip-So Far

Hi All,

After visiting family and friends in the St Augustine area and friends in Austin, we were heading north towards South Dakota when we picked up some bad diesel in Nebraska.

Note to self- Don't travel on Friday the 13th.
After what seemed like forever, we got towed to a truck repair place in Hastings, NE. They will look at it Monday morning!

In search of something to do, we found the Stuhr Museum on Grand Island about a half hour north. 100 original buildings from the 18th through early 20th century, many with folks demonstrating historical skills like hat making, tin smithing and cooking.

They also have museum exhibits of "unusual " items.

If that's not enough electricity for you, try this hair curler.

Need more volts? This is the control panel from an electro shock therapy machine!

The veterinarian office had this operating table for horses. Check out some of the instruments.

This horse drawn hearse dealt with those with too much electricity.
Hopefully we'll be on our way tomorrow.

Love,
