Hi All,
It was a pretty quiet work week again. A few moose jams and brief bear jams.
Lots of wildflowers out like this one named Elephant Head. Thanks for the great photo Walt.
At one moose jam the animal walked right towards us to cross the road.
We typically patrol campgrounds for coolers, food and other bear attractants but we also check for smoldering campfires and unattended pets. At Jenny Lake CG we found both at the same site. You cannot leave a dog alone tied up in bear country. Sandy made friends with Cookie and we took her to a safe place until her owners returned.
Many friends send us bear cartoons- this one was pretty cute.
