Winding Down

Hi All,

We are in our last week of patrolling. One evening, three mile deer does, each with a fawn, walked through our campsite.

One of the fawns stopped to play with our loon whirligig.

Lots of black bears along Moose Wilson Rd. This mom was ready to cross the road but the kids were still back eating berries.

We are frequently asked about carrying bear spray. This flow chart clarifies the issue.

Driving home near sunset, the lighting along Blacktail Butte caught our attention,

This last week saw lots of high elevation snow.

It's not like Vermont but when the Cottonwood trees turn gold we know fall is here.
We leave on Monday after Yom Kippur and a day of packing.

Love,

Sandy & Carl
