More APOD

Hi All,

Long drive today with rain, traffic, toll transponder failure and a broken air conditioner. Tomorrow will be better.

Meanwhile Carl has collected a few awesome Astronomy Photos of the Day. The arc of the milky way over a National Park has been a popular subject. Here's Crater Lake

and Bryce Canyon.

When aging stars explode they generate expanding gas clouds in many different shapes.

Not surprisingly, this is called the Robin's Egg Nebula.

Love,

Sandy & Carl
