Potpourri

Hi All,

Still lots of bears around but now moose are being seen more often. This cow was in Sawmill Pond.

Speaking of bears, check out this guy. This magnificent brown Newfoundland was visiting from CA.

Recognize these three? 49 years ago, the Apollo 11 crew splashed down and were placed in an isolation van to keep us al from getting "Moon Germs".
We have visitors in our campsite tonight. As we patrolled Jenny Lake Campground earlier today, we met two bicycle tourists. They asked about getting a site at Gros Ventre Campground where we live. We assured them there would be sites available at least until early afternoon. Carl half jokingly told them our site number and said they could stay with us if the campground was full.

At 8:30 PM there was a knock on the door and a voice said, "Were you serious?" As darkness fell they pitched their tiny tents behind the coach. Tomorrow they will continue riding across the country.

Love,

Sandy & Carl
