Hi All,
This morning we hiked the carriage road along the west side of Jordan Pond
The two low hills across the pond are the Bubbles.
After lunch we drove to the west side of Mt Desert Island where we hiked the Ship Harbor Trail. Lots of scenic vistas like this view of the harbor mouth
and the coastal granite formations.
Nearby is the Bass Harbor Head Lighthouse.
From the other side you see the lighthouse and the setting sun.
Quite the sunset!
Once the sun went down we had dinner at Seafood Ketch (thank you Evalyn for the recommendation). Best seafood casserole on the planet.
