New Hampshire Nostalgia

Hi All,

From Bar Harbor we drove west into the White Mountains of NH. As we toured the area we spotted so many places we had camped and visited while we were living in southern NH.

Moose Brook State Park was still open. We hiked around and discovered we were the only campers there.

Rain and wind the first day cut back on the foliage but some individual trees along the Kancamagus Highway were stunning.

When we stopped to hike to Sabaday Falls we found this poignant sign at the trail head.

The falls were as beautiful as we remember them and there was lots of flow due to the previous day's rain.

Our next stop along the "Kanc" was Rocky Gorge.

Saturday we drove further south to the Lake Winnipesaukee area. More scenic memories and a chance to visit our friends Jean & Geno Farnam. It was a great visit as we caught up on the last two years. Geno still makes his Special Blend margarita.

Love,
