Hi All,
We had a nostalgic visit to the place where we began volunteering back in 2006.
We saw two volunteer couples we knew back then and the gators came out to say "Hi".

Even the baby alligators were out.

The Chesser Island Homestead remains as we left it eight years ago.

We hiked the boardwalk to Chesser Prairie and found these "Pac-Man" lily pads

This beautiful new boardwalk replaces the old one burned in the 2011 wildfire

Chesser Prairie is as beautiful as ever.

Unfortunately, Volunteer Coordinator Gracie Gooch was not around today. We'll see her next time.
Love,
Sandy & Carl
