Floating Market & Macaques

Hi All,

Today we rode a long tailed boat to the floating market.

Along the way we spotted this small monitor lizard.

The market was a wonderful spectacle both ashore and on the water.

Visitors buy food from the boat vendors and eat along the canal.

Our guide bought us some purple mangosteen. It was delicious.

As we continued on the boat we encountered a troop of crab eater macaques. They are accustomed to being fed bananas by the tourists on the boats.

When we were not fast enough throwing food to him, he climbed aboard and helped himself at Carl's feet.

Love,

Sandy & Carl
