Hi All,
This palace complex was established in 1782 when King Rama 1 ascended the throne. This 54 acre site includes royal residences, throne halls, a coronation complex and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha.
The crush of the 20,000 daily visitors was distressing at first but the architecture, gold and the magnificent scope of the place soon compensated.
Instead of torturing you with lengthy names we cannot spell and you cannot pronounce, please just enjoy the images.
