Hi All,
This evening we broke into three groups of five for visits to Lao families.
Our host Oui, is a retired French Teacher. His wife Sawayi taught us how to prepare two dishes
And they served us a wonderful meal. We took turns talking about our homes, lives and families.
Their five year old grand daughter Vickee was a delight, showing us her toys and pictures. When Sandy pointed her camera at Vickee, her face lit up.
Oui concluded our visit by giving us each a bracelet from the Buddhist monks, bestowing good luck and safe travels.
It was an awesome evening.
